If you are told organic , raw, good and accessible, who do you think of? Terrabio, of course!
A pioneer of the covered organic market in Brussels, Terrabio launched the concept with the legendary Marché Bio des Tanneurs, in the lively heart of the Marolles. Since then, the whole of Brussels has been there. The idea? Make organic products accessible to everyone, not just the bobos 🤭, by focusing on short supply chains, bulk products and fair prices, for consumers and producers alike. A second market opened in 2019 at the BeHere in Laeken, confirming the Brussels roots of this great adventure.
At Terrabio, every product has a reason to be there. Seasonal fruit and vegetables, bulk, bakery, cheese dairy, grocery store... and own supply chains with passionate Sicilian producers and committed Belgian market gardeners, in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. Terrabio is committed to never asking producers to lower their prices : here, the producers' income is fair, and the profit margin is voluntarily reduced to keep prices low for all. 🌱
The logistics go through Terroirist, a 100% Brussels player, because local commitment is also played out behind the scenes. 🚚 And the result of all this commitment? Less than 1% of food waste, everything that remains goes to compost. Not bad for a market!
Terrabio is also an organization that moves : a diverse clientele that comes from all walks of life, from the Marolles to the BeHere, and a simple philosophy that has been carried out for more than 15 years: eating well should not be a privilege.
So, do you want to be part of an adventure that has taste and meaning? Join the Terrabio team! 🥕🍞
A taste of the team
At Terrabio, the teams are as authentic as the products they offer! A strong sense of belonging to the market, employees who have been there for many years, and an atmosphere like no other. The proof? The current manager of Les Tanneurs started as a student more than 15 years ago. 🙌
What makes Terrabio so special is the great diversity of profiles and backgrounds. 24 employees, 6 different nationalities: here, we come from a wide variety of backgrounds and that's exactly what makes the team so rich. One thing unites them: the pride of offering products that make sense.
We operate with a management that is as horizontal as possible, where everyone has a lot of flexibility and autonomy in the organization of work. We trust you, we support you to increase your skills, and we accept you as you are. 🌍
Team spirit is also experienced outside the market: a shared glass after service at the weekend, a gourmet meal and a tasting of all the wines at the end of the year, a teambuilding event in June. Because a good team is also nourished by good times together. 🍷
Cuisine on the premises, a warm atmosphere and products that make sense. 🥕

Our commitments to a sustainable world
At Terrabio, the environmental commitment is reflected in concrete terms: less than 1% of food waste, all that remains goes to compost. And because the local impact is also played out behind the scenes, the logistics are handled by Terroirist, a 100% Brussels player. 🌱
Eating organic shouldn't be a privilege. Thanks to short supply chains and bulk products, Terrabio makes healthy and responsible food accessible to all, including people with lower incomes. A social commitment rooted in everyday life. 🛒
At Terrabio, we believe in everyone: a real policy of increasing the skills of our staff, a diverse and inclusive team, and a culture where we accept you as you are. Because a positive impact starts with the humans who carry it. 🌍
At Terrabio, each product has a reason to be referenced. There is no question of putting something on the shelves by chance. Seasonal fruit and vegetables, committed Belgian and Sicilian producers, clear traceability: here, we know precisely where the majority of the products come from. A rare and assumed transparency. 🥕
The rare unsold food does not end up in the trash: Terrabio donates it to local Brussels associations committed to sustainable food. Because a responsible market doesn't stop at its doorstep. 🤝
