Head Nurse (m/f/x)
On a full-time permanent contract
What does the job consist of?
As a head nurse, you are the link between the management and the field. Your mission is to ensure the material, organizational and logistical management of the unit and the care team in order to provide patients with quality care.
· Ensure the day-to-day management of the department: team management, work organization (staff presence, order and stock management, etc.)
· Optimize the service according to the available resources
· To ensure the harmonious functioning of the care team so that everyone can fulfill their mission in an optimal way
· Evaluate the team and participate in its continuous training
· Guarantee the processes of global patient care and their updating
· Collaborate in the development of nursing policy and ensure its application
· Supporting institutional projects

Your team and environment:
· You will be supervised by Noureddine Rafiaa, head nurse
· You will work in collaboration with Sesila Rabbi, Deputy Head Nurse
· You will supervise a team of 9 nurses and 4 nursing assistants.
· You will work on the Molière Longchamp site, located at Rue Marconi 142, 1901 Forest.
How about we talk about you?
Your training:
· You are in possession of a bachelor's degree in nursing stamped and registered by the Brabant Medical Commission.
· You have completed additional training related to the management of a team (executive school or Master's degree). If you are in training and have already passed the first year of the executive school or the Master's degree, you can also apply.
Your experience :
· You have at least 5 years of experience as a nurse and you already have experience in rehabilitation.
· A first experience in team management is an asset.
· You have a good knowledge of Dutch : You are able to understand the patient's needs and communicate with your colleagues
Your skills :
· Leadership: You will manage the service by guiding the care team and being the guarantor of HIS' values.
· Communication: You communicate easily, which allows you to ensure upward and downward communication within the team and with the various health professionals (doctors, anesthesiologists, surgeons, etc.)
· Assertiveness: You will propose organisational improvements and changes to working hours to optimise the service, in collaboration with the head nurse.
· Ability to anticipate and take initiative: You anticipate staffing needs for the coming months and adjust as needed.
· Project Management: You like to initiate ideas, carry out concrete projects and mobilize teams around a common vision.
· Ability to Positively Influence: You are a good listener and know how to convince, get the teams on board and give meaning to change.
· Sense of priorities and ability to make effective and efficient decisions: In order to guarantee continuity of care.
· Team spirit: You like to work in a team and you have a sense of collaboration. You follow up with your superiors and the doctor and you give indications and instructions to the members of your team.
· Conflict management and reframing : You are on the front line in conflict management within your team. You know how to take the necessary measures.
What we offer you:
· Type of contract: Permanent contract
· Working time: 100% (38 hours/week) or 80% (30 hours 24 hours/week)
· Hours: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm with occasional on-call duty.
· Start date : 01/09/2026

· Min: 4268,54€ (index: 2,1647)
· Max: 6553.87 (index: 2.1647)
What does the recruitment process look like?

· A managerial assessment by video with 2 recruiters (60 minutes)
· An on-site interview with the management.
